'Grey's Anatomy' Season 17 Episode 11: Will Amelia and Link get officially engaged after Maggie and Winston?

Fans feel Maggie and Winston's engagement is too soon into their relationship

Link (Chris Carmack) and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) have been giving 'Grey's Anatomy' fans "couple goals" for a while now. The two have rather admirably taken on the care of four children in the midst of a pandemic, and managed to, for the most part, been quite in love, in spite of all the drama, death and chaos surrounding them. Off late though, we saw that the pressure of parenting was getting to Link who started needing some alcohol to help him get through the day.

Amelia got to know about this when she found a bottle that Link had hidden. This could have been an especially triggering moment for Amelia who is a recovering addict, but she and Link managed to power through. Amelia explained that she is not judging him, she simply wants a relationship where they have no secrets from each other. It seems that Amelia's understanding attitude could have sealed the deal for Link because in the upcoming episode we see Link asking Amelia to marry him.

The big question of course now, is that does Amelia say yes? An even bigger question, if she does, could there be a double wedding on the cards since Maggie (Kelly McCreary) and Winston (Anthony Hill) are also engaged.

Fans are loving that there are so many reasons now to cheer. Meredith waking up, Winston and Maggie engaged and now possibly Link and Amelia as well. One fan tweeted, "so to sum up tonight...we got a slexie reunion, a cristina mention, a calzona & sofia mention, mer is off the vent, maggie and winston are engaged.....AND YOU EXPECT ME TO BE OKAY????? #greysanatomy".

Some fans however felt Maggie and Winston's engagement was a bit rushed. One fan tweeted, "Maggie and Winston??? They’ve been together for 5 whole seconds, wtf #GreysAnatomy ".

Others understood that this is life in a pandemic. One fan tweeted, "winston proposing to maggie after a couple months dating during a global pandemic gives me “life is short im in love with this person let’s do this” vibes.

Meredith could possibly be waking up to both her sisters engaged, which will be a nice surprise in the middle of the harder news she will have to face about Andrew DeLuca's death. To find out more about the wedding fever on 'Grey's Anatomy' tune in on Thursdays at 9 pm on ABC.
