'Grey's Anatomy' Season 16 Episode 10: Owen Hunt proposes to Teddy Altman, fans say he will break her heart
As Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) said, Owen Hunt (Keven McKidd) happens to marry everyone. After Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) and Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone), it'is now Teddy Altman's (Kim Raver) turn to wear Owen's ring.
Episode 10 of 'Grey's Anatomy' aired on ABC on January 23 and was filled with zingers. While addressing mental health issues, Miranda Bailey's (Chandra Wilson) miscarriage among other pressing things, Owen's proposal to Teddy came as a sweet relief to many fans. However, while some expressed their joy, others felt that Teddy deserved better and the two don't make a good couple.
One fan wrote, "I will sacrifice my left arm if it means teddy and Owen can break up."
"Am I suppose to feel happy for Teddy and Owen because I don't #GreysAnatomy," tweeted one viewer.
Teddy was earlier dating the brash surgeon Tom Koracick. Some fans wouldn't mind seeing the two together again. "Teddy needs to be with that Tom character. Owen needs to be Amelia," wrote another unhappy viewer.
"Is it me or is anyone else confused???? And, I really, really, really don’t care about Owen and Teddy’s relationship," tweeted a fan.
"Teddy deserves BETTER THAN OWEN," tweeted another.
"Teddy is going to have her heart broken. She is always second place where Owen is concerned. She needs to love herself more bc she's worth more than he ever could give her," a fan wrote.
Apart from this, there is much confusion about Amelia's baby, and whether Owen is the father. "#GreysAnatomy the whole pregnancy drama needs to be addressed asap. Teddy and Koracick need to end up together, but the baby is Owen's ... I am conflicted," wrote another fan.
"Tom's face when Teddy & Owen announced their engagement," wrote a heartbroken fan.
However, others are quite happy about this. "Teddy and owen’s engagement was cute. they should’ve BEEN got married. haters close your eyes we have a wedding to attend," wrote a happy fan.
'Grey's Anatomy' airs on ABC every Thursday at 8pm.
