'Grey's Anatomy' cast celebrates season 15 with a weekend-long pop-up art exhibit
There can be no better way to celebrate the 15th season of the show which is now being led by probably the highest paid actress in a prime-time drama, and the cast of ABC's 'Grey's Anatomy' knows just how to do it right. Just when Ellen Pompeo, who is now considered to be TV's $20 million lady, has hinted at the possibility of her quitting the show, probably after season 16, the cast celebrated the record-breaking 15th season at the opening night event of a special, weekend-long exhibit in West Hollywood on Thursday, September 20.
Teaming up with PopSugar and THNK1994, the pop-up exhibit paid tribute to some of the most iconic moments throughout the show’s journey while leaving fans eager for what is to come. Open to the public from September 21-23, the exhibit- named 'Anatomy of an Icon: 15 Seasons of Grey's'- featured fine art and engaging installations to not only celebrate past moments in the show but to also create a global opportunity to discuss the pillars of the show. PopSugar notes that the exhibition had several installations of some of the most memorable moments from the show: "Think life-size artwork of some of the show's sexier cast members, a painting of that oh-so-romantic elevator proposal, and light installations of phrases like 'you're my person'.
