While President Donald Trump and the rest of the Congress were busy deliberating on potential deals for their border wall budget during the government shutdown, a couple from Kentucky — Allie McKinney and Chris Rachford — was worried whether they will have enough money to keep their baby daughter alive. Rachford reportedly has worked in data processing for the IRS for six years, however, he was furloughed during the 35-day-long shutdown, left without a paycheck for the month.
Although the shutdown ended temporarily on Friday, the couple is still worried about their daughter Harper Rachford.
