'Good Trouble' Season 2B Episode 14: Alice gets into trouble with Joey as her big secret comes to light
All along, Alice Kwan (Sherry Cola) was living with the impression that she had dodged the bullet by keeping her secret safe, unaware of the consequences of her little moment with Lindsay Brady (Rhea Butcher).
Ever since Lindsay came into Alice's life, the comedian has been seen struggling to maintain a stable relationship with Joey Riverton (Daisy Eagen). As if dealing with Joey and Lindsay’s history wasn't hard enough, Alice gets herself entangled in deeper trouble by letting her mentor plant a kiss on her lips.
In Episode 14, Alice tries to achieve a karmic balance by telling Joey the truth, but her conscience only forces her to do the opposite. Despite her loyalty for Joey, Alice leaves no stone unturned to stop Sumi from seeing Lindsay, owing to her strange infatuation for her mentor.
However, her efforts go in vain when Lindsay and Sumi (Kara Wang) hit it off nevertheless. Lindsay asks Sumi to come with her for the stand-up performance and it doesn't go down well with Alice.
Meanwhile, Alice realizes she has bigger problems to deal with when Joey decides to pay a surprise visit. Joey finds Lindsay's presence unsettling but only puts up with it for Alice's sake.
Later in the night when all of them gather for dinner, Joey decides to address the elephant in the room and confronts Lindsay about Jenny. When they get talking, Joey and Lindsay realize that they got played by Jenny, who was two-timing at the time.
The confrontation also reveals that Alice was well-aware of Jenny’s actions, but chose to keep it a secret from Joey. Joey is further devastated when Alice finally tells them about Lindsay kissing her. Alice's worst fear comes true when Joey decides to call it quits on their relationship, owing to her behavior.
Will Joey ever be able to forgive Alice? 'Good Trouble' Season 2B airs on Wednesdays on Freeform.
