Leo Terrell asked Mike Pence to 'go home' after he announced his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential campaign

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former Vice President Mike Pence has reportedly withdrawn his 2024 presidential campaign after his announcement on Saturday, October 28.

In early June, Pence officially kicked off his 2024 campaign. Despite dedicating a significant portion of his time throughout the summer and into the autumn to visiting key early voting states such as Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina, his White House aspirations failed to gain substantial momentum.

Following this event, Leo Terrell took to X (formerly Twitter) to brutally slam Pence following his announcement. Also, several X users agreed with Terrell bashing the former Vice President.

Leo Terrell took to X and wrote, “Good! Go home and retire. You disgraced yourself by running against America’s greatest President in YOUR lifetime!”

In his tweet, he also added a short clip of Pence’s statement where he announced his decision at the annual Republican Jewish Coalition convention.

He said, “I came here to say it's become clear to me this is not my time.”

"So after much prayer and deliberation, I have decided to suspend my campaign for president effective today,” he added.

Pence further continued, “You know, we always knew this would be an uphill battle, but I have no regrets. The only thing that would have been harder than coming up short would have been if we'd never tried at all.”

“I say this is not my time, but it's still your time. I urge you to hold fast to what matters faith, family, and the Constitution of the United States of America. I'm proud that our campaign stood firm on America's role as leader of the free world,” he concluded.

Internet slams Mike Pence following his withdrawal from 2024 presidential race

After Leo Terrell brutally slammed Mike Pence after he announced his withdrawal from 2024 presidential campaign, the internet also took a jab at the former VP.

One person wrote, “It’s about time! I’m exhausted seeing him talk over interviewers trying to be a statesman and relevant. He’s a traitor on J6,” and another added, “Probably best, the way you did Trump...after that you lost any respect I ever had for you!”

One more took a jab at Pence adding, “Will NEVER be his time,” and another wrote, “Now go home and rest Mike.”

A person simply shredded Pence, “Glad to hear that…I was so disappointed in you Mike...I'm glad you're out!”

One added, "good riddance pence - traitor," and “I hope we never hear his name again,” said another.
