'Good little communists': Megyn Kelly lambasts American CEOs who gave Xi Jinping standing ovation at APEC summit
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former Fox News and NBC star Megyn Kelly lashed out at the CEOs of major American companies who gave a standing ovation to Chinese President Xi Jinping at the APEC Summit in San Francisco.
The veteran journalist expressed her disbelief and anger at this sight, telling her viewers that she “can’t believe her eyes” after watching this ordeal.
The 52-year-old claimed that it was hypocritical of these CEOs to applaud the Chinese President, given the atrocities that Jinping commits in the form of “genocide of Muslims.”
Megyn Kelly slams American CEOs for applauding Xi Jinping
An angry Kelly was stumped at the visual of American CEOs giving a standing ovation to the Chinese President.
She said, “I can’t believe my eyes. American businessmen giving a standing ode to the Chinese President”
She then played a clip for her viewers to make her case. Kelly then named the top US Executives who attended the APEC summit.
She disclosed that Apple CEO Tim Cook, Tesla and X chief Elon Musk, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, FedEx chief Raj Subramaniam, and Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff – were among the 400 guests at the dinner hosted by the US-China Business Council and the National Committee on US-China Relations.
Kelly remarked that they “looked like good little Communists as they stood and clapped for the man now committing a genocide against Muslims in China.”
She added, “Didn’t anyone stop and think to themselves, ‘Not a good look, you know, the forced sterilization of Muslims in China. I’m really not going to stand and applaud the guy who’s doing that?”
However, Kelly also called out the hypocrisy of Black Rock CEO Larry Fink, stating how he was vocal during George Floyd’s incident in 2020, talking about “racial injustice” and now he was seen applauding the Chinese President.
She diverted the attention of her viewers to Fink’s letter to his employees after the Floyd incident addressing “racial injustice” in the United States, where he expressed his deepest sympathy for the black community and called such events “symptoms of a deep and long-standing problem in our society.”
After reading the letter for her viewers, Kelly shouted, “We’re the problem, yet that guy was in the middle of the crowd clapping for the man committing the genocide of Muslims.
“These CEOs are disgusting hypocrites. I never want to hear their lectures about this country again.”
She concluded, “I would never be on my feet cheering for that man. It’s absurd. These executives embarrassed themselves, their companies, and their country.”
