Golden Globes 2021: Josh O’Connor wins Best Actor for ‘The Crown’, fans say he ‘gobbled up every co-star’ on show
It's that part of the year again when awards are bestowed upon movies, shows, actors and more for their contribution to the entertainment world. The Golden Globes 2021 is being held currently with its hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler running the show from two different locations: New York City's Rainbow Room and Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
Nominations under various categories were announced by Saraj Jessica Parker and Taraji P Henson, building a lot of anticipation surrounding the big winners of the night. Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series was one of the most awaited moments as it included nominees such as Jason Bateman for 'Ozark', Josh O'Connor for 'The Crown', Bob Odenkirk for 'Better Call Saul', Al Pacino for 'The Hunter' and Matthew Rhys for 'Perry Mason'.

The award was taken home by O'Connor for 'The Crown'. He played the role of Duke of Edinburgh Prince Charles and husband of Princess Diana in the hit Netflix drama series.

Golden Gloves 2021 is produced by Dick Clark Productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, with Stachel and Jackson Lee, children of Spike Lee serving a the 2021 Golden Globe Ambassadors. The event also observed the honoring of Jane Fina with Cecil B DeMille Award and Norman Lear with the Carol Brunett Award.
The official 2021 Golden Globe Awards was telecast on February 28 at 8 pm ET and the pre-show was streamed live from the official @GoldenGlobes Twitter account and on the website goldenglobes.com at 6.30 pm ET.
