After glitter boobs, which literally took the Instagram world by storm at 2017’s festival season, glitter bums is the latest favorite with glitter enthusiasts who are taking the trend all the way towards the backside to form 2018’s newest look.
Whether it's some sparkly dust on your butt or stick-on gems and glitter all over your bust, there seems to be no shortage of people lapping up this unusual trend around the world.
Go Get Glitter, a brand which has been a patron of the glitter trend for sometime now, has rolled out a number of varied glitter bum designs on their Instagram page, which has people covered in thick layers of glitter, along with giant rhinestones, studs, and crystals to create the illusion of underwear.
“We are all about being creative, free and loving the skin you’re in, which is the message we wanted to portray to people when we created this look,” said Sophia Lee, the makeup artist and co-founder of Go Get Glitter, in an interview with Marie Claire. “So who knows—maybe jewel underwear will be the next trend?”
We've already learned that glitter can be used to practically cover up any part of your body, and is clearly in a way replacing every piece of clothing you own by making it seem less bedazzled.
