Urban Meyer’s daughter did not shy away from expressing her true feelings after her father was fired from the Jacksonville Jaguars. In very scathing Instagram Stories, Gigi Meyer conveyed the message clearly that the saga was not ending anytime soon and she won’t forget what happened with her father.

Urban was dismissed from his job on Thursday, December 15, after former Jaguars kicker Josh Lambo accused him of kicking him during a practice in the offseason. Soon after that, Gigi took to the social media platform to share, “the spirit of the enemy is in full force battle mode in this world & in people. This is war. We all know who wins in the end.”

In another story, she wrote: “The enemy (aka the world) REALLY doesn’t wanna see good people win. & you can argue whether my dad is a ‘good person’ or not based on what you see in the media. (super reliable source of info as we know). Anyone who truly knows us knows how incredible he is as a person. & the world hates any platform we have, so he’s going to create chaos to destroy it. Little does he know he’s making it stronger. It’s not over. Keep watching.”

The fitness coach also posted pictures of her with her father and some more photos with Ohio State and Florida college football players. She said, “The enemy wants us to crumble & crawl into a hole. But I think you just released the kraken in me. This isn’t about peoples opinions. I don’t care. But when there’s lies & ppl full on after my family… Then I have a problem & I won’t stay quiet.”

Urban was with the Jaguars for 11 months but after his dismissal, the football team’s owner Shad Khan said, “Darrell Bevell will serve as interim head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars for the balance of the 2021 season. Darrell succeeds Urban Meyer. After deliberation over many weeks and a thorough analysis of the entirety of Urban's tenure with our team, I am bitterly disappointed to arrive at the conclusion that an immediate change is imperative for everyone. I informed Urban of the change this evening. As I stated in October, regaining our trust and respect was essential. Regrettably, it did not happen.”

“Trent Baalke continues as our general manager and will work with Darrell to ensure that our team will be inspired and competitive while representing Jacksonville proudly over our final four games of the season. In the spirit of closure and recharging our players, staff and fan base, I will not comment further until some point following the conclusion of the NFL season,” Khan added.

Meanwhile, people have reacted to Gigi’s public outburst on Twitter after Demetrius Harvey, Deputy Editor for @SI_AllGators covering Gators athletics and Beat Writer covering Jaguars for @BigCatCountry, posted a few screenshots of her IG Stories.

A user wrote, “I get defending your dad, but calling the world the enemy… Her dad has kind made his own bed. I feel bad for her. #urbanliar.” Referring to Urban’s another recent controversy that saw a woman dancing on his lap, the second user commented: “Yeah ok. She forgot to add this picture. But “family is everything”? Go lay down Gigi.” “Congratulations you are a wonderful loyal daughter.Regardless of how Urban Meyers is viewed he clearly raised a loving caring daughter.That in itself is a major accomplishment in the crazy world we live in,” the third user stated.
