Babies are said to be highly sensitive to other forces that adults cannot see. A security camera in the home of a family had left the parents horrified after looking over some footage of their baby sleeping and finding a face watching from the side of the crib. A paranormal expert has now explained what really took place in the video. In the footage, the toddler can be seen tossing and turning around in the crib late in the night. If you look closely at the video, you will suddenly be able to see a face staring at the baby and that too without moving a muscle.

Ghost hunter Barry Ghai took a look at the video and explained to The Daily Star what the face really was and why it may all just be your mind playing tricks on you most of the time. He said: "It does look like another child’s face. This is interesting because it’s the prime example of how people see faces in everyday objects and videos.

"It’s called Matrixing – it’s the way the brain works. I don’t think that there is a spirit forming there because it’s a static-looking face. And it’s using infra-red and not a high-quality video. I don’t believe this is a ghost, I think it’s just us seeing what we want to see in there and making faces out of nothing." Ghai has spent many years investigating a variety of hauntings, demonic entities and the paranormal in general.

He co-hosts 'Help! My House is Haunted', with experts Sandy Lakdar and Chris Fleming to help families overcome the fear they feel in their home because of unwanted entities hovering around. The ghost hunter spoke to The Daily Star and said that this isn't the case with just one house and that spirits could be close to almost every Brit in the country.

He said: "It’s definitely possible that every British household is haunted to some extent. Whether or not these spirits make themselves known is a different matter. I think the reason is because we have such rich history here and it’s not just the property and somebody dying in that house that will cause the haunting. It’s the land, the history and what was there before. People also attract spirits and unwanted attention and these spirits can come into the home uninvited, to some extent."

"Help! My House is Haunted" airs every week on Fridays, 10 p.m. on the TV channel Really.
