George Floyd protests: Michael Rapaport in epic foul-mouthed rant against William Barr and Donald Trump
After George Floyd's tragic death, people are taking to social media to raise their voices against systemic racism and dole out their opinions on the political fabric of the United States. ‘Boston Legal’ star Michael Rapaport hurled a string of abuses at Attorney General William Barr. His blast came after reports said that Barr ordered authorities to clear a crowd of protesters that had gathered near the White House.
According to a Justice Department official, Barr personally gave the order minutes ahead of President Donald Trump's televised address from the Rose Garden, CNN reported. A New York Times report said that an official said that the decision was taken so that Trump could walk to a historic church near the White House and have his picture taken.
Expressing his anger and annoyance in the one-minute 36-second Twitter post, he slammed him and dubbed him as a "dumbtruck" and "little s**t" for ordering the peaceful protest to be cleared out as well as for arranging the photo-op for Trump. "The only time a place of faith should be used in this administration should be for a f**king exorcism," he said in the video and added, "History is written by winners. Nobody is winning right now. What the f**k have you ever won, William Barr?"
The video was captioned: "William Turkey Neck Barr has done so much for this Country & never gets any credit. You DumbTruck #WilliamBarr Disruption is LIVE on the new @iamrapaport here." His tweet soon went viral with more than 1,200 retweets and 3,000 likes. The abusive clip doesn't come as a surprise as Rapaport has transitioned from TV's favorite bumbler-with-a-heart to America's angriest man in recent times.
Taken aback by his rage in the post, many fans came in support of him. One said, "I ADOOOOOOOOORE YOU MR.RAPAPORT!!!!!! Love your TRUTH RANTS!!!!!!!!" and another posted, "The more you rant, the calmer I feel. It’s quite odd. Keep this shit up! I love it!" Another fan wrote, "Omg my so excited! He's friggin awesome." Many others couldn't stop laughing. "You went Beast Mode! But you are 100% on point. Get em bro," one said and another wrote, "Awesome as usual. Thanks, I needed to laugh at that b***h's expense."
Some, however, were worried. "Remember when this guy looked like he had a promising career in Hollywood then just kinda fizzled away...this is what became of him? Drunken, homeless rants?" one tweet read and another said, "That was his best roll in a very short movie career." Nevertheless, Rapaport's angry rants are definitely keeping fans entertained as the country sees massive protests across all cities.
