Kiss frontman Gene Simmons slammed for calling anti-vaxxers the enemy: 'That is childish'
Kiss rockstar Gene Simmons has publicly condemned people who are choosing to remain unvaccinated against Covid-19, calling them "an enemy" which has resulting in an uproar against the legend on Twitter.
"If you're willing to walk among us unvaccinated, you are an enemy," Simmons said during an appearance on the Rock N Roll Channel on TalkShopLive. "Stay away from evil people who don't care about your health," he said. Simmons also gave a staunch reply when host Steve Harkins said that the issue appears to be "pretty much black and white, [and] not a political game." "It has become political, unfortunately, the far left and the far right, are both evil. They both spread all kinds of nonsense," Simmons said. "Politics are the enemy. Humanism and humanity is what we should all be concerned about. Love thy neighbor as thyself."

Simmons also remarked during the program: "You are not allowed to infect anybody just because you think you've got rights, that are delusional of course. You don't have the right to go through a red light. Actually the government has the right to tell you to stop." snapping at one of the critics online, the 72-year-old Simmons said on Twitter that he took the Pfizer vaccination twice. "I took Pfizer vaccine twice. I did get Covid, but no side effects. The vaccine saved my life," Simmons tweeted.
Jerry. I’m calling you out. You’re a moron talking through your ass. I took Pfizer vaccine twice. I did get Covid, but no side effects. The vaccine saved my life…Hey Loser, nice profile foto, by the way. https://t.co/bVofBnHZOz

'Not the Gene Simmons vaccine headline I would have predicted'
People on social media were not happy with Simmons' comments. "It's good to know that #GeneSimmons doesn't think my dumb ass is an enemy because I got the vaccine.....what does he think about the #Myocarditis I have from the vaccine though? @genesimmons I've missed a ton of work because I got the vaccine and had bad reaction. Can you help?" one of them said, while another wrote, "People who are unable, unwilling for personal reasons or have natural antibodies that haven't received the vaccine are not our enemies they are fellow human beings. They deserve the same respect as anyone else. This is an uneducated response that is childish & cruel @genesimmons."
A third commented, "I'm vaccinated. I shoved old people out of the way to get it. I love vaccines. Nevertheless, my fellow citizens are not my 'enemy' because they think differently than I do. Fuck you @genesimmons."
The next remarked, "People like Gene Simmons need to trust their vaccines and shut the entire fuck up. Why don't you trust the science that says you're super duper protected against COVID if you've been fully vaccinated?" One more added, "It's so sad that somebody somewhere cares what Gene Simmons thinks about vaccines. I had to Google to remember who the old fella even was." Another quipped, "This is not the Gene Simmons vaccine headline I would have predicted."
A commenter tweeted, "PHD Gene Simmons weighs in on the vaccine debate..." Another noted, "Gene Simmons nor kiss have been relevant in my entire lifetime. IF there is one band more overrated than the Beatles it is Kiss . Fuck off Gene and shove your vaccine up your ass." One more said, "Fuck Gene Simmons. If the vaccine works why are the vaccinated so afraid of the unvaccinated? #vaccinenazis #vaccinedoesntwork #SayNoToVaccineMandate." A person reacted with, "sorry, Gene Simmons can not be the vaccine's spokesperson."
