Gambino mob heir warns that Michael Cohen will have a hard time in prison because 'inmates love Trump, hate rats'
Cohen, who has been sentenced to serve three years in prison, is set to report to federal prison in May. Cohen was sentenced after he pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations, bank fraud, tax fraud, and lying to Congress.
President Donald Trump's former personal lawyer Michael Cohen has been issued a stark warning by an heir to the Gambino crime family, stating that he could face heavy retaliation in prison over his Congressional testimony on Wednesday because "inmates love Trump."
Giovanni Gambino, the 43-year-old son of late Sicilian mob boss Francesco 'Ciccio' Gambino and cousin to infamous crime boss Carlo Gambino, said: "A message for Michael Cohen: He better keep his mouth shut," according to the Daily Mail. Giovanni issued the warning to Cohen shortly before his public testimony.
"Inmates love Trump and hate rats. If he wants to get out alive, he better keep his mouth shut about Trump," the 43-year-old said.
