Hip-hop artist Freddie Gibbs appears to have landed in hot waters after he posted two problematic videos back to back on his Twitter feed. The video that sparked the most controversy shows a young White man in the middle of a mental breakdown after being badly heckled by a customer at a hotel reception. Gibbs captioned the video, saying, "Somebody make sure this white boy don’t have a gun."

In another video posted the same day, a group of Black women can be seen in the middle of a fight. Some of the women appear to be naked as they clash with each other in the video clip from an unknown source. Both the videos have earned Gibbs severe backlash as Twitterati called out his problematic social media posts.

Is Freddie Gibbs canceled?

The video of the 'White boy' posted by Gibbs on April 25, 2021, shows a young man at the desk of a Holiday Inn Express hotel. He is being heckled by a customer behind the camera who also appears to be filming the video. As the customer continues to rudely question the employee, he has a shocking reaction. In a moment of mania and hysteria, the employee punched himself on the head several times before smashing the computer screen on his own head. As he regains his composure for a moment, the customer continues to harass him and he walks away while sobbing loudly far from the camera.

Gibbs was dubbed immature and insensitive for sharing the video with a caption that sparked controversy, instead of empathizing with the man's failing mental health in the video. "Delete it, Fred," demanded a user, to which Gibbs responded, "Nope. I won't."

‘Mental health issues, disabled people and disgusting things...’

Bleacher Report writer Alessandro Miglio called Gibbs an 'a*****e' for posting the video and refusing to take it down. "Antagonizing and filming a mentally ill guy having a breakdown while he's working for barely minimum wage during a pandemic. What for? Not enough towels in your room? They gave you a room with 1 bed instead of 2? What'd they do to make you act like this at ur grown-ass age?" tweeted gamer and Twitch streamer Froste.

"Freddie Gibbs posts drug addicts with mental health issues, disabled people, and disgusting things that no one can explain which leads to his accounts being banned. However, people choose now to say he’s going too far," tweeted one user.

Another user wrote, "damn Freddie Gibbs fell off & became a sh*t tier meme account. This is foul & I hope you feel like shit for clowning on someone who is clearly mentally ill & provoking them for no reason."

‘Is this a fight or an orgy?’

Gibbs also faced social media wrath for posting two clips from a video where naked and skimpily dressed women can be seen involved in a bitter group fight. He posted the first video with a misogynistic caption saying, "Is this a fight or a orgy?" and soon followed it up with a second video captioned "Part 2"

"To post, retweet, whatever, is so disgusting. I would think a father of a daughter, and a young daughter at that, would emit more positivity. I’ve lost so much admiration for such a talented artist. It’s a shame," a user complained. Another tweeted, "Freddie, man, sometimes you just gotta chill wtf even is happening here"
