Swarm of deadly bees enter moving car and kill Kenyan revenue officer in freak attack
An officer with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), John Muthine Mutwiri, was killed in a freak bee-attack incident in Mombasa, Kenya. He was driving a Subaru Forester to Majengo in Mombasa, when bees flew inside the car and stung him several times, according to a police complaint filed at Makupa Police Station on Saturday, December 11.
Mutwiri was accompanied by Commanding Officers Hezekiel Gikambi and Maurice Kinyua, according to a police report. When the swarm of bees suddenly invaded their car, they hurriedly climbed out of the vehicle to escape and ran in different directions at the same time, according to a statement released about the freak incident. However, Mutwiri was overcome by bee stings and collapsed at a neighbouring garage owned by Mwaruwa Chikophe.
