Sean Hannity reports on Larry Elder's shift from running for Presidential race to endorsing Donald Trump

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Thursday, October 29, conservative radio host Larry Elder ended his campaign for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, which was first launched in April.

CNN reported that Elder’s reasons for running pointed to securing the border and combating criticism that the United States is "systemically racist."

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity also took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share Elder’s latest news, as Elder announced his endorsement for former President Donald Trump.

As Hannity shared this latest news about Elder, and his support for Trump, people resorted to mockery and closeness instead, as they asked “Larry who?”

On X, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity wrote, “Elder Suspends Campaign: Larry Elder Drops Out of GOP Race, Endorses Donald Trump.”

Hannity then quoted Larry Elder, “ELDER: "It's time to unite behind Donald Trump to beat Joe Biden!”

Attached to this, was an article from Hannity’s official website, Hannity shared a part of Elder’s statement as he dropped out of the Presidential race.

Elder said, “Throughout my campaign, I have been steadfast in my belief that the biggest issues facing our nation are the crisis of fatherlessness, the dangerous lie that America is systemically racist, the need for an amendment to the Constitution to set federal spending to a fixed percentage of the GDP,”

Elder added, “Otherwise government gets bigger whether Republicans or Democrats are in charge, and the need to remove the Soros-backed DAs across the country who refuse to enforce the law.”

The radio host also shared his statement on X, where he also showed support for Donald Trump, “Honored to have just met with @realDonaldTrump to lend him my endorsement for President. I am grateful for the support I received from so many of you across the country. Statement below.”

Internet says Larry Elder 'didn't have a choice'

As Sean Hannity reported on Larry Elder’s support for Donald Trump, and Elder dropping out of the race, the internet was quick to mock Elder. One user said, “Now that’ll move the needle...maybe 15 voters?”

“And his message was heard loud and clear by all 16 of his supporters,” wrote one user, and another said, “No surprise…He didn’t have a chance.”

One user said, “Oh, I didn't realize he was even still in the race,” while some asked who Elder was, “Who????😑” said one, and another wrote, “Larry Who?”
