NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: President Joe Biden's favorability in New York has reportedly taken a hit, with his latest poll numbers indicating a decline, as per a recent survey conducted by the Siena College Research Institute.

Biden's favorability-unfavorability rating now stands at 45-52%, marking a decrease from 50-45% in September.

Significantly, 52% of Democrats have now indicated a preference for an alternative presidential candidate in the 2024 election, a change from the 54% who had previously supported Biden as the nominee leading up to the upcoming presidential race as of September.

In response to this development, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity turned to X (formerly Twitter), to share further details. However, his tweet received a negative response from online followers, leading to a backlash.

Sean Hannity reports on Joe Biden’s favorability-unfavorability rating in New York

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X on Tuesday, October 24, and wrote, “Bad News for Biden: Recent Poll Shows Joe Underwater in Deep-Blue New York. Biden’s favorability-unfavorability rating in New York fell to 45-52%, a drop from 50-45% in September..."

Hannity’s tweet featured an article from his official website titled, “Bad News for Biden: Recent Poll Shows Joe Underwater in Deep-Blue New York.”

In the article, it was stated that President Joe Biden may be in trouble in the Empire State as his favorability percentage hits new lows.

POTUS’ rating in New York reportedly fell to 45-52% as the majority of Democrats want a different presidential candidate for 2024.

Siena College pollster Steven Greenberg said, “While 70% of Democrats view Biden favorably, and 70% of Democrats approve of the job he’s doing, 52% of Democrats say they want a different presidential nominee in 2024,” as per The Daily Caller.

He continued, “And in general, Biden only leads Trump 46-37%, a far cry from the 61-38% margin Biden won by in 2020. Biden’s lead slips to just seven points if RFK and West – who, combined, win the support of nearly one in five voters – are on the ballot.”

In the same survey, it was revealed that a significant portion of voters hold negative views on how the Biden administration is addressing the migrant crisis within the state of New York, with 64% of voters and 48% of Democrats expressing disapproval.

Additionally, a majority of voters, accounting for 59%, reportedly believe that crime in New York state has worsened.

A notable 84% of New York voters consider the state's migrant crisis to be a serious issue, and 57% of them view it as very serious.

It is plausible that Biden's age, coupled with a series of ongoing crises both domestically and internationally, may be contributing to the decline in his favorability ratings.

One person wrote, “..says Fox News' Chief Liar....”, and another added, “Like anything you say is truthful.”

A person simply called out Hannity adding, “Yep, you are an "entertainer" and not a journalist,” and another wrote, “Another faux news fun "Fact"? 🤣
