Sean Hannity reported State Dept's global warning, urging US citizens abroad to exercise caution due to potential terrorist attacks

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Thursday, October 19, the State Department reportedly issued a global warning urging US citizens abroad to exercise caution due to the "potential for terrorist attacks."

This warning comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, where Israel is conducting a counteroffensive in the Gaza Strip against Hamas, an organization that has been responsible for the deaths of over 1,400 Israelis and the abduction of more than 100 civilians since October 7th.

The State Department's "Worldwide Caution Security Alert" is aimed at informing US citizens traveling overseas about the increased risk of terrorist attacks, large-scale protests, and potential violence targeting Americans.

Following this event, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to report more on this news.

However, the internet did not respond positively to Hannity’s tweet as he was blasted and called a “traitor”.

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “*JUST IN*”

Hannity’s tweet featured an article from his official website titled, “AMERICANS ON ALERT: State Department Issues World-Wide Warning for American Citizens [READ].”

In the article, it was stated that the State Department has issued a statement encouraging all Americans to remain on alert as they travel anywhere in the world while Israel and Hamas are at war.

The statement said, “Due to increased tensions in various locations around the world, the potential for terrorist attacks, demonstrations or violent actions against U.S. citizens and interests, the Department of State advises U.S. citizens overseas to exercise increased caution. U.S. citizens should.”

It further added, “Stay alert in locations frequented by tourists, Enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive information and alerts and make it easier to locate you in an emergency overseas, Follow the Department of State on Facebook and Twitter.”

Sean Hannity gets trolled 

After Sean Hannity took to X and reported on the State Department’s warning to American citizens, the internet quickly blasted Fox News anchor as one wrote, “I wouldn’t believe anything this fake newscaster says. He’s a liar and a traitor. Unless it comes from the WH don’t trust him.”

One slammed Hannity saying, “More fear mongering Sean?” and another wrote, “That would be you Sean! So does he have dirt on you or are you gonna be paid off by Putin??”

A person called out Hannity, “You are an EVIL, LYING piece of crap! You’ll go down in history as a TRAITOR to your country! You are as GUILTY as Trump! You spread your TOXIC VENOM just to encourage HATE and VIOLENCE!! You are nothing but TRASH!”

One brutally blasted at Hannity adding, “Is that a photo of the closed door meeting the R's are having about Gym Jordan? Sean, you are a feckless loser who has pinned his star to a group of mental midgets. Just waiting for your resignation for "inappropriate behavior" in the Fox locker room.”
