Internet joins Fox News host Mark Levin in bashing Sunny Hostin after her 'ignorant' Israel-Hamas remarks on 'The View'

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News anchor Mark Levin took over X, formerly known as Twitter, to share his opinion on ‘The View’ host Sunny Hostin, who recently spoke about Hamas on the daytime talk show.

Mark Levin, nor the internet was impressed by statements made by Hostin. Fox News also released a brief video on the same, which was titled, “The View co-host Sunny Hostin accuses Israel of committing war crimes, compares Hamas to Proud Boys.”

Levin has taken a dig at Hostin, and the internet followed, as they accused ‘The View’ host of “spewing hatred.”

Sunny Hostin’s statement on ‘The View’

‘The View’ panel discussed Hamas, and the ongoing atrocities that have been occurring in Israel. After Joy Behar, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, and Ana Navarro shared their opinion on the ongoing Israel-Hamas, Hostin gave her “legal perspective.”

Hostin said, “I look at this from a legal perspective and think we all know that Hamas has been designated a terror organization just like many other terror organizations have had this designation like the Proud Boys here in the United States.”

She continued, “But I do think that what we need to remember is that there is an international human rights body of law, and when you look at that law, part of it is retaliation against innocent civilians collectively is also terror and is also a war crime.”

Hostin made it a point to add that those were not her words, “And, again, those are not my words, those are the words of the law. The president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen when we were talking about Ukraine, said Russia's attacks against civilian infrastructure, especially electricity, are war crimes, cutting off men, women, and children of water, electricity, and heating with winter coming, these are acts of pure terror, and we have to call it as such.”

On X, Mark Levin shared Fox News’ article which played a 55-second clip of Sunny Hostin on ‘The View.’

Levin said, “Yet another ignorant and sickening antisemite.”

Sunny Hostin faces backlash on X

After Mark Levin labeled Sunny Hostin an “ignorant and sickening antisemite,” the internet was quick to pile on.

One user wrote, “She spews hatred every day and gets paid for it…She is a miserable person…God will judge her…”

‘The View’ also faced backlash after this as one user wrote, “I wouldn't give any of those people the time of day. Evil TV show. Never watched it once. Seeing them in the news is too much. I don't know how anyone can listen to any of them,” and another said, “Not surprising coming from the View!”

“Cancel her @$$!” wrote one user, and another said, “With a name like Sunny you wouldn't think she is miserable and spew hatred but sadly she is.”

Hostin continued to face backlash on X, as one user labeled her, “Evil.”
