Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham faced backlash online as she expressed her disappointment over Joe Biden's statement

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Saturday, October 7, President Joe Biden “offered Israel "all appropriate means of support" after a deadly attack from Palestinian militant group Hamas and warned "any party hostile to Israel" not to seek advantage,” as reported by Reuters.

The report also stated that a senior US official said, “The United States is working with other governments to make sure the crisis does not spread and is contained to Gaza following a deadly Hamas attack in Israel.”

President Joe Biden also took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to extend his support to Israel. However, Fox News anchor and host of ‘The Ingraham Angle’, Laura Ingraham, was not convinced.

On X, President Joe Biden showed his support for Israel as he wrote, “Today, I spoke with @IsraeliPM about the appalling Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel. I offered our support and reiterated my unwavering commitment to Israel’s security.”

He also added, “@FLOTUS and I express our heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost loved ones.”

Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham was quick to respond to Biden's statement. Retweeting his post, she wrote, “Why doesn’t Biden sound as effusive in his support for Israel as he does for Ukraine?”

As Ingraham showed her disapproval over Biden not sounding “effusive” in his support of Israel, the internet disagreed and many came to support President Biden, due to which the Fox News host faced backlash on X.

One user wrote, “I know if you stopped creating outrage & division in America, stopped lying to the American public, you would lose your multi-million dollar salary, but how is Biden’s statement not supportive of Israel?”

The Internet has defended Joe Biden after Ingraham’s statement as one person wrote, “He does but you aren’t listening,” while a third said, “Perhaps you just need something to write about. I'd love to hear your justification for supporting Donald.”

“Do you always have to be negative?” asked one user, and another wrote, “It really doesn't matter what he said, you'd find fault with it somehow.”

Ingraham continued to face backlash on X as one person said, “Not “effusive” enough for Laura? Joe better start effusing better!”
