'You aren't a serious person': Fox News' Laura Ingraham faces backlash for quoting Martin Luther King Jr

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham has come under scrutiny once again but this time for quoting Martin Luther King Jr on X, formerly known as Twitter. 

This comes after Ingraham was brutally slammed for labeling Joe Biden and Mitch McConnell’s wives a "big problem," arguing that both parties are "no longer capable of working full time."

Laura Ingraham quotes Martin Luther King Jr

On Saturday, September 2, Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham quoted Martin Luther King Jr on Elon Musk's platform X. 

The tweet read, “If you can't be a pine on the top of a hill, be a scrub in the valley—be the best little scrub on the side of the hill," MLK Jr urged the audience."

Ingraham's tweet further read, "Be a bush if you can't be a tree. If you can't be a highway, be a trail. If you can't be the sun, be a star. It isn't by size that you win or fail—be the best of whatever you are.”

However, labeling the network as 'Faux News', Internet users slammed Ingraham for quoting American Baptist minister and activist Martin Luther King Jr, who was assassinated in 1968. 



 

Internet calls Laura Ingraham a ‘great liar’

Internet users flocked to Ingraham's post on X to take a jab at her, claiming she "represents everything" Martin Luther King Jr "fought against." 

One fan wrote, “Please don’t ever quote MLK, no one who works at faux news should,” while another simply said, “So I guess you the Great Liar in all this.”



 



 

Another who had a similar opinion said, “Why is @Laura quoting MLK?@Fox ppl #RightWingers are funny.” A fourth user sarcastically added, “Laura Unhingedram.” Meanwhile one said, "You are not a serious person." 



 



 



 

A fan took a heavy jab at Ingraham’s tweet and said, “You quoting Dr. King is blasphemy.#MurdochGutterMedia,” and one wrote, “You are not worthy of quoting Dr. King. You represent everything he fought against.”

Who is Laura Ingraham?

Laura Anne Ingraham who was born on June 19, 1963, is a conservative American television personality. Ingraham who joined Fox News in 2007 hosts 'The Ingraham Angle'. 

However, surprisingly Ingraham is currently unmarried. Although she’s had several high-profile relationships, she doesn’t appear to have plans to marry in the near future, as per Buzz.
