Fox News' Jesse Watters claims Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom are 'jockeying' for POTUS role as Joe Biden's ratings dip
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News host Jesse Watters has claimed that Vice President Kamala Harris and California Governor Gavin Newsom are allegedly eyeing President Joe Biden's job next year, owing to a decline in his approval ratings.
On his show, ‘Jesse Watters Primetime,’ the conservative political commentator threw light on the staggering downfall of President Biden’s ratings which now stand at a mere 37%.
Watters mocked President Biden for calling himself a “wartime President” and said that he is instead just a “one-time President.”
The 45-year-old then drew the attention of his viewers to the fact that Harris and Newsom have allegedly begun gunning for the President’s job by taking interviews and by visiting a foreign nation like China.

Watters informed his show's audience that President Biden's political association with the Gaza conflict has eroded his support among many Democrats.
Watters said, “Young Democrats, not too hot on Biden to begin with, associate the Israeli issue with social justice are now siding against him. The Hamas caucus, huge headache, not just young Democrats and minorities are turning against Biden.”
The Fox News host revealed that even Muslim Americans are turning sour on Biden and withdrawing their support.
“Muslim Americans are now souring against Biden. Michigan has a lot of them and Trump is now tied with Biden in Michigan and any erosion of Muslim support in Michigan can cost Biden the White House."
Watters stated that Biden has lost “11 points with Democrats until now” which has now allowed Harris and Newsom to make their case for taking his job in the next term.

Watters continued, “With two wars and record inflation, the under guard are seeing an opening. Kamala Harris and Gavin Newsom are jockeying for the position”
He informed the viewers that Newsom is in China to deepen his ties with the government in the country while Harris is doing CBS’ '60 Minutes' to rebrand her image.
“Big opportunity for Kamala, she can rebrand herself.” However, Watters mentioned that it will be difficult for Harris as her ties with Biden are not that good.
He said, “Kamala and Biden don’t talk. He tosses her a couple of projects that she can’t figure out and lets her take all the blame but Kamala says they are best friends.”
Watters then pivoted to Newsom’s China trip and disclosed that the California governor is “having the time of his life.”
He concluded the segment by stating, “President Biden might not be the option. So it's between Gavin and Kamala. Good luck in ’24.”
