WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump has reportedly landed in trouble after a federal judge imposed a partial gag order against him, which prohibits the former president from making any statements regarding Special Counsel Jack Smith, his staff, witnesses, and court personnel.

The gag order against Donald Trump has sparked several responses all over social media, including from Fox News host Mark Levin, who has labeled it as “outrageous”.

Levin also stated on X, formerly known as Twitter, “We don't need lectures from former federal prosecutors about how Trump should conduct himself.” However, his statements in favor of Trump have sparked outrage on X.

Mark Levin slams gag order against Donald Trump

On X, Fox News host Mark Levin shared his thoughts on the gag order imposed on Donald Trump by US District Judge Tanya Chutkan of the District of Columbia.

Levin wrote, “Leftist judge issues another outrageous order, violating President Trump's free speech rights and further interfering with the election as if Trump is a threat to some trying to put him in prison the rest of his life.”

“Stalin would be proud,” wrote Levin, before he continued, “And we don't need lectures from former federal prosecutors about how Trump should conduct himself. Political prosecutions -- multiple such cases in Trump's case -- need to be publicly condemned, including if not especially by the target.”

Levin added, “Obviously, Trump can't expect anything but pro-Biden-government propaganda from the corrupt American media.”

The Fox News host has also claimed that “this judge does nothing” as he wrote, “Meanwhile, the judge has still not ordered an investigation into the endless government leaks against Trump.”

“She should have done that on her own long ago, as she doesn't need Trump's lawyers to ask her. The purpose of such an investigation would be to protect due process and the integrity of the court.  But this judge does nothing,” concluded Levin.

Internet responds to Mark Levin's rant on gag order

The internet was quick to respond to Mark Levin’s response to Donald Trump’s gag order as one social media user wrote, “Whatever, Mark. Don't threaten judges, prosecutors, jury members, court employees, etc. and there's no need for a gag order.”

The official “Fact Checker” account on X also responded and wrote, “Fact Checking...CONCLUSION: Mark Levin is lying again. Anyone who is charged with crimes can be subjected to their freedoms being curtailed, such as can't leave the state, wear an ankle bracelet, and of course gag orders.”

They also added, “Donald Trump is not be treated any differently.”

“Blah blah blah blah blah,” wrote one user, while another added, “Not unconstitutional only in your dreams.”

Levin continued to face backlash as one user wrote, “She did no such thing.  If you can’t be honest about this, at least be honest enough to zip it, Sparky,”

Another wrote, “Here's another guy that plays a lawyer on the T.V.”
