NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The Israel-Palestine war has extended into its fourth day and shows no signs of abating despite over a thousand deaths and multiple atrocities all over the region. Many have speculated about the motivations behind the Palestinian militant group Hamas' attacks that led to Israel's declaration of all-out war.

Fox News host Jessica Tarlov stood her ground on the statement that the group is powered by their religious extremism in her recent appearance on 'The Five'. She also expressed concerns about the media's involvement during this sensitive period.

Jessica Tarlov reflects on US media affecting Israel-Palestine conflict

The Fox News host highlighted the significant psychological impact created by social media during a conflict, such as the one between Israel and Palestine.

"Parents [have] to monitor and be on top of this in a different way. Jewish high schools all over the country are asking parents to remove TikTok and Instagram from the kids' phones because you get served these things. You don't have to go looking for it," she warned.

Tarlov here was referring to dangerous content related to groups like ISIS, which had put up videos like "Train me how to be a Jihadi," that were freely available on the net.

She gave an example of what her sister has decided to do in such times.

"My sister was telling me that she has deleted her social media; she doesn't want to be served this right now. She has been watching the news non-stop. She is not trying to live in a bubble about it."

Jessica Tarlov speaks about Hamas' religious extremism

Tarlov also highlighted a key element of this conflict, which her co-hosts had failed to mention during their discussion. Why Hamas had unleashed violence on Israel.

"We have not talked a lot about what this actually is. And they think that heaven awaits them if they complete the mission. Which is... this is a religious war and if the endgame is not that you are buried in the ground, but you are going on top because you did a good thing by taking out a grandma or beheading a baby (sic)."

Co-host Brian Kilmeade, who came in to fill in for host Jesse Watters, cut in to say that not all Islamic nations or groups carried such extremist ideologies.

"Good news is they are not all biding to it because you have four nations - Islamic nations - signing on to the Abraham Accord."

"I meant Hamas," Tarlov responded

"And Riyad is saying we are not closing the door on joining them," Kilmeade concluded.
