NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, has been indicted on three federal gun charges, as reported by The New York Times. Following this, GOP members have reacted to the indictment.

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share some of the reactions of “prominent GOP members” and highlighted Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s response to Hunter’s indictment.

After this, the internet mocked Hannity for labeling Greene a “prominent” GOP leader as he added her name alongside the likes of GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, and Representative James Comer.

On X, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity quoted Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene as he shared the link to an article from his official website.

He wrote, “MTG: "Hunter Biden has been indicted for three counts of federal gun charges But where are the indictments for tax fraud, FARA abuse, money laundering, and sex trafficking???”

The article Hannity shared in addition to this quote was titled, ‘SHOOTING FROM THE HIP: Prominent GOP Members React to Hunter Biden Gun Charges’.

In this article, Hannity's staff quoted Greene, Representative James Comer, GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, Popular conservative commentator DC Draino, and Donald Trump Jr.

After Hannity’s tweet, the internet could focus primarily on one part, which was the use of the word “prominent” for Greene.

Internet takes a dig at Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene

In response to Fox News anchor Sean Hannity quoting “prominent GOP member” Marjorie Taylor Greene, one person asked, “Marge Greene is prominent?” and another said, “Prominent?? gahahhahahHvhHgHHh.”

“Poor Sean, always on the wrong side of history!!” wrote one user and another person mentioned Greene and wrote, “The fact you give her one iota of credit says so much about you.”

People have labeled both Hannity and Greene a “joke” in response to this tweet, as one wrote, “Prominent members? You're as big a joke as she is.” Another person wrote on X, “You're disgusting and disgraceful, and Marge is even lower.”

Several even came to Hunter Biden’s defense as they asked Hannity for evidence in response to the tweet, “Where is the evidence!????” said one. At the same time, another continued to laugh over Hannity’s use of the word “prominent,” writing, “Prominent?” with a slew of laughing emojis.
