Fox News anchor Sean Hannity mocks Joe Biden after POTUS' gaffe with Brazilian President at NYC meeting
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Wednesday, September 20, President Joe Biden meets his Brazilian counterpart, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, in New York.
The leaders of the Western Hemisphere's largest democracies explored areas of common ground, despite some recent disagreements on issues such as Russia's war in Ukraine and other matters.
However, Biden committed his latest awkward gaffe on Wednesday when it seemed he forgot to shake hands with Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, commonly known as "Lula," before departing the stage following a joint event.
Also, he almost walked into a flag while taking the stage. Following this news, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter), to slam confusing and shuffling Biden.
Soon after Hannity’s tweet, the internet reacted and several mocked Biden saying “world is watching and laughing.”

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X, formerly Twitter, and wrote, “*THE WORLD IS WATCHING*”
Hannity’s tweet featured an article from its official website titled, “RED FLAG! Confused EMBARRASSMENT Biden Stumbles into Flag, Snubs Brazilian President [WATCH].”
The article also had a video where President Joe Biden is notably stumbling into the flag and snubs Lula during his attempt to shake hands.
The gaffe took place after Biden's speech on workers' rights at the United Nations in New York City. Following the speech, he shook hands with International Labor Organization Director-General Gilbert Houngbo, who was also on stage.
Biden then paused to wave and salute the audience before turning and walking away slowly. During this moment, Lula appeared to approach Biden as if to shake his hand, but he realized the president was heading in the opposite direction.
Lula then turned and gestured towards his side of the stage, visibly expressing irritation, before walking away.
