Fox News anchor Sean Hannity labels Kamala Harris 'tone deaf' for 'ignoring rise in antisemitism'

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News anchor Sean Hannity has called Vice President Kamala Harris 'tone deaf' after she announced a focus on addressing Islamophobia.

Concerns have been raised by some that this may not be adequately addressing the issue of rising antisemitic attacks across the country.

Following this announcement, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) and took a brutal jab at the VP, calling her 'tone deaf'.

Moreover, many X users supported Hannity’s remarks against Harris as several called out the Vice President.

Sean Hannity mocks Kamala Harris

The Fox News anchor took to X and wrote, “Our VP should be prioritizing stopping the hate against the Jewish community right now."

Hannity’s tweet featured an article from his official website titled, “TONE DEAF: VP Harris Blasted for Agenda Ignoring the Rise in Antisemitism [WATCH].”

In the article, it was stated that Kamala Harris has been facing severe backlash since her announcement on Biden Admin’s plan to fight Islamophobia despite the surge in antisemitic attacks.

Harris took to X and posted a video where she said, “Taking on hate is a national priority. Today, @POTUS and I are announcing the country’s first National Strategy to Counter Islamophobia. This action is the latest step forward in our work to combat a surge of hate in America.”

She continued, “For years, Muslims in America and those perceived to be Muslim have endured a disproportionate number of hate-fueled attacks.”

“As a result of the Hamas terrorist attack in Israel and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, we have seen an uptick in anti-Palestinian, anti-Arab, anti-Semitic, and Islamophobic incidents across America, including the brutal attack of a Palestinian-American woman, who is Muslim, and the killing of her 6-year-old son,” Harris concluded.

To this, several people from the government reacted to Harris’s statement. Professor Gad Saad said, “According to the @FBI director, Jews make up 2.4% of the US population but are the targets of 60% of hate crimes. This is why it is apparently important to fight Islamophobia according to the White House.”

Former US Senate candidate Adam Laxalt took to X and wrote, “Today, a wall in a large Jewish community in Las Vegas was tagged with ‘Death 2 Jews’. This is just one example of many hateful acts of antisemitism we’ve seen across the country. Our VP should be prioritizing stopping the hate against the Jewish community right now.”

Internet dubs Kamala Harris a ‘joke’

After Sean Hannity mocked Kamala Harris’ and blasted her for ignoring the rise in antisemitism, the internet backed the Fox News anchor and slammed the Vice President.

One person wrote, “If she could say one sentence about antisemitism without saying islamophobia it would be a Mirical,” and another added, “She is such a joke.”

One more called out Harris adding, “Don't count on KH for anything,” and another wrote, “She's really not our VP. Everyone knows they cheated the entire election.”

One person simply stated, “Kamala is a pig,” and one more opined, “She not able to do anything,she just appears and disappears.”

“She cares more for the enemy,” added another.
