NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Wednesday, August 30, Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham posted a video of Donald Trump's former lawyer, John Eastman, speaking about the former president's indictment.

In the video, Ingraham was interviewing Eastman, who spoke about the indictment exclusively on ‘The Ingraham Angle’.

According to Ingraham, Eastman was “lodged with nine charges against him most notably under RICO.”

She added that before Eastman headed to court to enter his plea, he decided to come on ‘The Ingraham Angle.’

However, fans did not agree with Ingraham and slammed her for propagating false information.

Laura Ingraham tweeted a snippet of a video interviewing Eastman, who has also been charged.

The tweet read, "'If we can't speak out about election issues, then our freedom of speech is gone.' — John Eastman. Watch Now #FreedomOfSpeech."

In the video, Ingraham asks Eastman, “Why did you decide to speak out tonight knowing anything you say to the media or to this program can then be potentially used against you?”

Eastman replies, “Look, I have been speaking out all along. We did nothing wrong."

He added, "We were challenging the election for what even Vice President Pence described as serious allegations of fraud and numerous instances of officials violating stated law.”

He continued, “And if we can’t speak out about that, then our freedom of speech, our right to petition, the government for redress of grievances are gone.”

Internet calls Laura Ingraham a ‘liar’

In response to Ingraham’s tweet, her fans were quick to disregard her and the claims she mentioned in the video.

One wrote, “They are charged for what they did. Not for what they said. But you know this so who are you targeting with these lies?”

Another said, “You're all guilty Laura. If @IngrahamAngle's team had pursued the truth with as much vigor as they did the covid scam rather than dismissed election fraud/stealing days after the '20 election by denying it had any standing..we probably wouldn't be here today.”

A fan wrote, “Yet you don’t let him articulate as he wanted. Always interesting, after having all the time for your monologue.”

Another tweeted, “Laura; love your show; but let your guests speak. You spent more time developing your question than letting John answer.”

One fan simply wrote, “Big difference between questioning election results and putting together a plan to change them. Seems you left that part out of the tweet Laura.”

Another wrote, “Laura is a liar, like the rest of @FoxNews.”
