President Donald Trump shared a clip from Fox News on Twitter showing news anchor Greg Gutfeld name the people who downplayed the pandemic, and of course Trump's name was not there. Trump not just shared the video but also said, "I was right," and in no time people started slamming him for the same.

"I was right, these people were all wrong, and now they criticize me. Such hypocrisy!" he wrote alongside the clip where Gutfeld said, "Let's not forgot who really played down the pandemic, it is a classic cut," and then the compilation video, which includes Andrew Cuomo, Nancy Pelosi, Anderson Cooper and Bill de Blasio, starts. "We don't even think it's going to be as bad as other countries," Andrew Cuomo says in the clip, whereas Blasio said, "Newyorkers life is going pretty normal now, we want to encourage that." In the end, Gutfeld adds, "Now these four accuse Trump of what they themselves did."

As soon as Trump shared the video, saying that he was right, people started slamming him, as some angry Internet users commented: "200,000 Americans died unnecessarily because YOU knew COVID-19 was deadly and airborne, and you decided to 'play it down'. Your super-spreader events will kill MORE. And you're taking a VICTORY lap?!? YOU ARE A DERANGED SOCIOPATH."

Another angry user said, "Sweetie: YOU KNEW! Lardy, there are tapes of you admitting that you downplayed the virus. You weren't right. You didn't test in February. WHEN YOU KNEW! Less than 5% of the world's population & 22% of the dead. The corpses piling up in the unmarked graves prove it."

While another one reminded him, "@realDonaldTrump, YOU are informed before anyone else, and because of the inability to inform others, they said what they said based on what they knew at the time. You ARE to blame, and we won’t forget. Oh, I found this pic of you that shows you in your true light." One accused him for not taking the responsibility and said, "Trump will never take responsibility or blame regardless of how obvious it is. It's always someone else's fault. - 194,000 deaths."

While one scared Internet user expressed distress and said, "4 more years of this charade, this arrogance, this dictatorship will change the country. If he loses the election, I'm afraid his crazies, with Fox News approval, will rise up, and we will have civil strife. Maybe the 2nd civil war. Very scary," and another one said, "There’s mourning in America. And under the leadership of Donald Trump, our country is weaker, sicker and poorer. And Americans are asking, ‘If we have another four years like this, will there even be an America'."

"Here’s the thing, Desperate Don, they were reporting on what YOU TOLD THEM! And now we know YOU WERE LYING!," said another netizen. While one sarcastically wrote, "Too bad all these people were President of the United States when this happened and had Intelligence Briefings. Thankfully we had that whole everyone Trump hates is President gap year."
