Four children, all aged below 8, killed in house fire as mother and father manage to escape
Friends of the family of the deceased paid tribute to the children as they laid teddy bears and flowers near the scene of the fire later in the evening
A blaze in a house in Stafford claimed the lives of four children under the age of eight as fire engulfed their family home in the early hours of Tuesday.
The children's parents — 24-year-old Natalie Unitt and 28-year-old Chris Moulton — along with their one-year-old son Jack managed to escape the fire and were admitted to hospital. Reports said they are soon expected to recover from smoke inhalation and burns. Their injuries are reportedly not life-threatening.
The four children who died were identified as eight-year-old Riley, six-year-old Keegan, three-year-old Olly and a four-year-old girl Tilly, according to the Daily Mail.
