A former model for luxury fashion brands like Hugo Boss and Emporio Armani, 31-year-old Trace Riff, was charged on Monday for kicking a one-year-old black boy with his cowboy boot while shouting racial slurs at him, according to reports.
Riff was arrested at a Dillions grocery store in Wichita, Kansas on December 23, after he allegedly attacked the toddler, identified as Jhavii Fry at around 7:20 am, according to the Daily Mail. The former model, who is a crystal meth user, allegedly also shouted racial slurs at the boy, using the n-word and declaring himself a white supremacist.
Witnesses at the scene described how Rick kicked the toddler to the ground who had been holding his 11-year-old sister's hand at the moment of the attack. The toddler's mother, Lashantai Whitaker, who was eight months pregnant at the time of the attack, while talking to the Wichita Eagle, said that she was happy that the perpetrator was finally brought to justice.
