'Flower of Evil' Episode 11 Promo: Ji-won's senior has proof that her husband is Hyun-soo, she wants him gone
'Flower of Evil' Episode 10 had ended with Ji-won's (Moon Chae-won) senior at work Jae-seob getting his hands on proof that the man who he had come to know as Baek Hee-seong was actually the son of serial murderer Do Min-seok, Do Hyun-soo (Lee Joon-gi). He also realizes that Ji-won had known the truth earlier, but had not revealed it to her team or the department. We see Jae-seob attempt to get Ji-won to see reason and tells her that she needs to be objective in the promo. Instead, what we see is Ji-won getting on her knees and begging Jae-seob to give her some time. She begs him and even tells him repeatedly that Hyun-soo is not the killer that everyone believes him to be.
We also see Hyun-soo continue his deal with the cops in the hopes that clearing his name in connection to his father's serial killing will help him keep his life as Hee-seong intact. However, what he isn't aware of, is the fact that his sister who is undergoing hypnotherapy may have just found the accomplice. Instead of getting the cops' help however, she ends up visiting the accomplice's home directly. So who is the accomplice? Chances of it being the real Baek Hee-seong is high because it is his home that Hyun-soo's sister Hae-soo visits. She is tracing a wristband that he has seen on the accomplice during one of her sessions of hypnotherapy and that is what leads her to Hee-seong's house.
While she is putting herself at risk, Hyun-soo is doing everything to ensure that his life with Ji-won is not perturbed. However, all of his hard work is of no use now that Jae-seob has found the truth about him. Ji-won also realizes the same and that is why she asks him to leave her. She tells Hyun-soo that Jae-seob doesn't just know the truth but has also got his hands on solid proof regarding Hyun-soo's identity. Ji-won loves Hyun-soo and now that she has realized that Hyun-soo was a child who was mentally abused by his father and that he is not a psychopath she wants to ensure that there is a way to save him.
It is not hatred that has Ji-won push Hyun-soo away but love. However, will Hyun-soo understand Ji-won or will this drive him over the edge? We see Hyun-soo in tears as he drives somewhere which indicates that he has changed and that his condition has also devolved because he no longer has to train to smile. Will Hyun-soo really give up on the life that he had built with Ji-won and his daughter Eun-ha?
'Flower of Evil' will air on tvN on Wednesday and Thursday at 10.50 pm KST and can be streamed on Viki Global.
