Shadow Lantry and her husband were spared potential trauma after inmates rushed to rescue their infant daughter who they had accidentally locked inside their car.
Two parents in southern Florida who were left in a bind after they inadvertently locked their infant daughter inside their SUV were saved when a group of inmates nearby decided to use their skills for good and broke the child out of the car.
According to KABC-TV, the unique situation unfolded in Tasco County, near Tampa, outside of the West Pasco Judicial Center. Shadow Lantry, the mother of the one-year-old child, said the girl got locked inside after her husband strapped their daughter into a car seat in the back of their Chevy Tahoe and tossed the keys to the front seat before slamming the back door. When he realized the infant had been locked in, there was little he could do.
