A four-year-old child, identified as the twin son of a couple in New York, reportedly died after falling from the 16th floor window of his family's vacation condominium in Florida last weekend. The boy's mother revealed that the toddler had always wanted to fly. Police officials and paramedics from Hollywood, Broward County were called to the Quadomain Tower Condominium on 2201 South Ocean Drive at 12.30 pm on Saturday, April 11, after the boy fell.

Emergency personnel pronounced four-year-old Jesse DelDuca dead on the scene. The Broward County Medical Examiner's Office released a report on Thursday, April 16, ruling that the toddler's death was an accident. The document, obtained by the  Sun-Sentinel, stated that Jesse was with his parents, twin brother and his aunt, at his family's condo on the 16th floor when the tragedy occurred.

Jesse's father, identified as 51-year-old Phil DelDuca, from Concord, Staten Island, had reportedly opened a screened window in Jesse's bedroom to let a cross-breeze in at around 11.20 am. He left the room, and when he returned after some time, he noticed that the screen on the window was "partially bent out." He then removed the screen and placed it on the bed and closed the window, according to the outlet's report.

A few moments later, when Jesse's aunt saw the screen laying on the bed and opened the window, she found her nephew laying on the ground 16 floors below her. DelDuca, his wife and the sister-in-law rushed downstairs and asked the lobby attendant to call 911.

Jesse's mother, identified as Eliza DelDuca, reportedly told police that her son had always wanted to fly, according to the medical examiner's report. Pictures posted on the parents' social media accounts suggest that the family had been staying at the Florida condo for the last few months, according to the Daily Mail .

Jesse's mother, on the morning of the tragic incident, had reportedly shared pictures on Facebook, which showed that the twins were happily coloring eggs for Easter that day. Both the parents' social media pages are filled with the twins' happy, smiling pictures and videos.

Nearly two days after the incident, the grieving mother posted a heartbreaking status update, acknowledging the tragic passing of her four-year-old.

The mother wrote: "Goodbye ours Jesse boy!!!! 'Oh my God it hurts so much !!! please pray for us." After the mother's post, hundreds took to her social media post to write condolence messages while several others sent prayers to the family to cope with the difficult times. One well wisher wrote: "So extremely sorry for such a deep loss. There are no words that can ever take your pain away. May your heart find a way to heal in time, so that you can celebrate his amazing life. I pray that you and your family find strength and guidance from each other. Hold on to each other even tighter. Chris and I are praying for you all and keeping you in our thoughts. Please know that we are here for you. Praying you find some peace in your heart, mind, body and soul.  xoxo'

Eliza, days later, wrote another post on her Facebook account, saying Jesse would be "always and forever in our hearts." She also shared a picture of Jesus Christ emerging from water and looking toward her son with both his hands raised towards the sky.

The Hollywood Police Department released a statement, saying that an investigation into the toddle's accidental fall had been launched last week and is still ongoing.
