'Floribama Shore' season 4 took off with a pleasant announcement from Nilsa Prowant. While most gasped in disbelief when she confirmed that she was expecting a baby with fiance Gus Gazda, her ex-boyfriend Gus Smyrnios took a moment to realize what he had lost. For the rest, however, it was time to celebrate. While a thrilled Codi Butts said he couldn't believe he was going to be an uncle, Jeremiah Buoni, Kirk Medas, Aimee Hall, and Candace Rice took turns to hug Nilsa.

From that moment on, Nilsa knew it was not going to be easy. The cast and crew, however, did all they could to ensure she had a good time. Not only did they plan several house parties, but also arranged for day trips and winter sports. How much of this is safe for Nilsa given she is in her first trimester?

Before this, the Southerners had never experienced snowfall and thus, were excited to experiment with winter-specific activities. After skating across an ice rink, they picked sledding. Aimee was most excited about it. Even though she fell a couple of times, by the end of a few slides she had mastered the techniques and was cruising smoothly down the hill.

A preview clip shared by the network showed Nilsa wanting to join in on the fun, and surprisingly, no one stopped her. She sled with Aimee in tow. What happened next is something we'll know once the episode airs. Luckily, the slope wasn't that steep. In fact, it seems like a fun activity and a rather brave one. Knowing Nilsa and how careful she has been throughout her pregnancy, she would never put her baby at risk.

Debating over whether it was a good option for her or not, one fan commented, "Explain to me why this girl is doing all this crazy stuff while she's pregnant," and another defended, "I went sled riding when I was pregnant I was careful but I still went."

The good news is, Nilsa is fine and is expecting a baby boy in May. "I’m due three months from the premiere date," she told Page Six in an interview ahead of Season 4 premiere and added: "May 25 … I’m feeling super-pregnant, but I’m just happy I made it through filming because that was one of the hardest ones for me." Aimee, Candace, and Jeremiah were respectful of her pregnancy and how she was feeling at the point.

MTV's Florabama cast members Candace Rice and Nilsa Prowant attend CMT's "Music City" premiere party on February 20, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Nilsa elaborated and added that he would often take her out for walks. "We were going to get into fights, that’s fine. Let’s have our fights, but away from her. And if we’re going to drink like fishes, don’t let her see constantly. Like, come on, cut her some slack," Jeremiah shared.
