Kortni had bid farewell to the 'Floribama Shore' house after she suffered from severe throat pain. Unfortunately, she was not able to enjoy her time in the house for long as she quickly fell sick after all of them reunited in Floribama.

She tried to stick through the first few episodes of the show but quickly realized that things were not turning out to be great for her.  However, things are different now as she finally underwent surgery for her tonsils to be removed.

After consulting doctors, Kortni found out that she would have to get her tonsils removed and this led her to decide to step out of the house.

However, she was remembered by her fellow cast members as she would often get calls from them asking about her health. The next episode hints that things are getting better for her now that she has got her tonsils removed.

In an episode preview for the show, fans were given a glimpse of what Kortni had been up to. Before undergoing surgery, Kortni revealed that she had no idea what time, date or day it was but after the surgery things changed for the better.

"I just got my tonsils ripped out," she said with joy while adding that she is a "happy girl" now. However, Kortni was still quite frank about how she felt as she told a passing car driver to learn how to drive.

Her mother seemed concerned and asked her if she was alright and Kortni explained that she felt a bit low after the surgery. Her mother suggested that they get a slushy and she might feel better after that.

To this Kortni replied saying, "I don't give a sh*t". She went on to explain the irritation she was feeling after the surgery. "You can't swallow, your breathing is different. I feel like there is a little caveman that is chipping away things. I would rather have the tonsils back on," she said.

Despite feeling like this, Kortni added that she felt better than before and was looking forward to getting back on her feet.
