When will 'Flirty Dancing' return for season finale? Fans fear the series will end sooner than expected

Chin up 'Flirty Dancing' fans, the show might not be airing tonight with an all-new episode but will be returning sooner than you know. 

Named after a UK show of the same name, 'Flirty Dancing' recently premiered on Fox. How would it feel to perform a fully choreographed routine and get hoisted up in the air by a total stranger without even knowing their name or anything about them? Well, that's what 'Flirty Dancing' is all about. Hosted by Jenna Dewan, the series calls it "part performance, part blind date".

Each episode we are introduced to two singles who are then matched with two potential partners each according to their likes. They perform a choreographed dance routine with one and a totally different routine with the other. Without speaking a word to each other, and not knowing a single thing about the other, this series gives singles a chance to see if there is any spark and chemistry between them just by dancing.

With just four episodes down, the series is set to air with its finale. 'Flirty Dancing' usually airs every Wednesday night only on Fox. But now, 'Flirty Dancing' will return on Saturday at 8 pm ET for the two-hour finale of Season 1. 

News of Season 2 has not yet been revealed. So it is unknown if the series will be canceled or renewed for Season 2. Whether or not, fans are quite upset that the series isn't airing with an episode tonight.

Shocked fans took to Twitter to share their disappointment with the show not airing with an episode, and shocked that it is reaching its end so soon. "@jennadewan Okay I was dancing in my kitchen and slide in to record my newest favorite show #FlirtyDancing and BOOM nothing! Please tell me it’s getting a 2nd season! I absolutely love it!!" wrote a fan.

"The finale already?!! Not long enough! Thank you and I’ll be watching!! #flirtydancing," shared a fan. Adding to that another shared, "I’m die!!!!!! No #flirtydancing tonight? @FlirtyDanceFOX."
