'Flirty Dancing': Erin's decision to pick Alec for a second date has fans hoping the couple makes it all the way
'Flirty Dancing' will be your new Wednesday muse, and these singles looking for love will have your attention throughout as they go on a journey giving love another chance, but this time without knowing anything about the other person. Not even their name.
Based on the UK hit TV series of the same name, Fox calls the show "part performance, part blind date". Hosted by actress and dancer Jenna Dewan, 'Flirty Dancing' revolves around singles who learn a choreographed dance routine and perform it together with their date for the first time, without knowing anything about them — not even their name, or laying an eye on them prior to their first date.
This gives them a chance to see if they have a spark and chemistry between them. During Sunday night's premiere of 'Flirty Dancing', we witnessed two singles give love another chance.
One among them was 21-year-old Erin, a hairstylist. Because of her voice, she says she is called squeaky and a rubber duck. Looking for a chance at love, she doesn't want someone to judge her by the tone of her voice. And her past relationships have all been low standards. This time in her dream guy, Erin is looking for someone who is creative, confident, a gentleman and who would rock the dance floor.
She thinks this is a great way to meet someone new because her parents also met on the dance floor. The two guys who Jenna matched Erin with were 25-year-old Alec, a music composer, and 24-year-old Brandon, a real estate developer.
Alec composes music for movies, television, and video games. He shared that he expresses himself more via music than via talking. Alec also shared that he doesn't know what it is like to be in love, and has never been in love.
Brandon, on the other hand, revealed that his last relationship was his first real love and now he is nervous because is not a professional dancer. He hopes he doesn't end up looking goofy, silly and weird. He is also looking for someone who will have fun and loves adventure.
For their first date, Erin will have to learn two choreographed routines taught to her by Travis Wall, an Emmy Award-winning choreographer. Erin and her dates performed their dance at the Hollywood Bowl.
For Erin's dance with Alec, Jenna asked Alec to compose his own introduction for Ed Sheeran's 'Perfect'. And for her dance with Brandon, he had to learn a routine for Shawn Mendez's 'If I Can't Have You'.
Brandon and Erin's dance was filled with chemistry and it was romantic. Her dance with Alec, on the other hand, blew the roof off because it was both romantic and beautiful. Post her dance with Alec, Erin shared that she felt safe and secure. It was passionate and emotional. In the end, Erin decided to go on a second date with Alec.
Taking to Twitter post the episode, fans cannot help but be excited for the couple, sharing that Erin made the right choice. "I hope Erin choose Alec & get married & start having babies #FlirtyDancing (sic)," a fan shared.

A few weeks post their second date, in a pre-recorded clip, Erin and Alec reveal they are still together.
