Who doesn't want to stay fit and fabulous? ‘Shark Tank’ introduces one such product on its new episode. The FitFighter product is essentially an all-in-one weight training program that allows its consumers to perform various exercises that can tone muscles and shape any part of the body. Their appearance on Season 12 Episode 5 of the ABC show is dubbed as "An Iraq war veteran from Baltimore, Maryland, tries to work out a deal with the Sharks for her unique fitness system intended to help one train like a hero."

While it originally served only in the Fire Department of New York’s Fire Training Academy and the San Diego’s Fire-Rescue Academy, it was made available for home and gym use in 2019 and FitFighter has great potential to be of use for not only individuals dedicated to their health but also for athletes and sports teams as well. Did you know there are many choices to choose from? You can go for 5, 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40 lbs. separate steel-hoses, pairs, or even a “home gym” pack, which ranges from $65 to $205.

What is FitFighter?

The official website reads: "FitFighter began in a Long Island firehouse to better prepare firefighters for their job. Now, we bring that same strength, stamina, and spirit of service to you, whether you're a soldier, CEO, athlete, parent, pro or all the above. I can't wait to work with you."

It also says, "Our Steelhose sales support the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation serving first responders, wounded Veterans and their families. We are one giant family here. We are all closer than we think. United by the life-saving power of health and the desire to serve. We are here to be better and stronger with you, more ready for your life, and to have fun along the way."

Who is the founder?

Sarah Apgar is the Fitfighter Founder & CEO! An Army and Iraq veteran and an All-American Athlete, Sarah Apger is also a fitness professional, volunteer firefighter, and mom of two little girls.

She pursued an MBA degree from Tuck Business School at Dartmouth College. Following that, she began working as the Director of New Stores and Facilities for Warby Parker. To get back into the military grind, Sarah joined the volunteer fire department in Huntington, New York, and it was there that the idea struck her. She began experimenting with different fitness and weight routines and realized physical fitness and maintaining high stamina are just as important for firefighters as is it for soldiers.

The bio further says, "Sarah promotes and celebrates the power of teams, women leaders, and public service, contributing a portion of sales to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Tower Foundation. Sarah has an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA from Princeton University, and is a graduate of the Princeton Army ROTC Program. She lives in Port Washington NY with her husband, Ben Smith, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, and her two young daughters, Emory and Arlyn."
