Netflix has sure given us some all-time favorites when it comes to romance and action. The combination of the two genres has never left anyone disappointed. What Netflix is bringing now is certainly just that with an added flavor of romance between two girls from absolutely different backgrounds.

'First Kill' is a series that depicts a teenage romance sequence between a vampire and a monster hunter. First Kill is adapted by V E Schwab from her short story of the same name, with Felicia D Henderson serving as showrunner. The story revolves around Juliette and Calliope's love story and their missions and targets that are not so simple.

'First Kill' releases on June 10 exclusively on Netflix. It's the first season of the show with eight episodes.

What is 'First Kill' all about?

The upcoming show is about the unforgiving love between a vampire and a monster hunter. Juliette (Hook), a young vampiress is getting ready to make her first kill. Juliette’s body is changing with puberty, and killing a human is the only way to keep her bloodlust in check and hide who she truly is. Meanwhile, another young girl is getting ready to make her first kill — Calliope (Lewis) must take down a vampire to earn her place among her family of monster hunters.

The original synopsis reads, "Falling in love is tricky for teens Juliette and Calliope: One's a vampire, the other's a vampire hunter and both are ready to make their first kill." What do you think will happen when the girls who are in love have to face the reality of their missions and goals to get a place in their families.

Who stars in the Netflix limited series?

Sarah Catherine Hook and Imani Lewis are in the lead roles. The cast also includes Elizabeth Mitchell, Will Swenson, Aubion Wise, Jason Robert Moore, Gracie Dzienny, Dylan McNamara, Dominic Goodman, Phillip Mullings Jr, MK xyz, Jonas Dylan Allen, and Roberto Mendez.
