WISCONSIN, MILWAUKEE: A father left his two young daughters in freezing temperatures outside the house while he doused their mother in gasoline and set her on fire on Valentine's Day, her family revealed. He also forced them to watch.

The 23-year-old Savannah Bailey ended up suffering 60 % burns to her body after her partner set her on fire. The incident took place in the wee hours of February 14 inside Bailey's home which is near North 8th and West Cherry streets. Bailey's mother shared with WISN 12 News that the police had shown up at her door with Bailey's two girls.

Bailey's mother, Wanda, shared that the daughters- Cerenity, 4, and Cemaya, 1, had been found outside the house in temperatures of -18F without having any proper shoes or clothing on. "I said, 'Cerenity, who burnt the house up? Who did you say burnt the house up,'" Wanda said. Cerenity answered her grandmother saying, "My daddy did".

Wanda revealed that man had put the two girls outside in -18F and then went back inside the house to attack Bailey. "The baby didn't have no clothes on, no shoes. Cerenity just had (a T-shirt and underwear) on and no shoes," Wanda shared. The authorities eventually found and arrested a 26-year-old man.

The police have not yet released his name as he has not been charged. According to a GoFundMe page set up by the victim's sister, Sharrissa Johnson, while on fire, Bailey had managed to run outside the house and extinguish the flames by throwing herself into a snowbank. Bailey was also able to dial 911 for help on her own but has since been placed under sedation.

The flames had also set fire to some parts of the house and had destroyed the children's food, clothes, the TV, amongst a few other items. Bailey's family has shared that she will require multiple operations and maybe in the hospital for at least three months.

Sharrissa shared, "I'm at a loss for words. She doesn't look like herself, but I know that's my sister. She had her hair done and I feel like this is why he did that because she moved on and she found somebody new."
