CHESTERFIELD, DERBYSHIRE: Disturbing CCTV video captures the final moments of Finley Boden, a 10-month-old infant who was brutally killed by his drug-addicted parents. Shockingly, this occurred only 39 days after social services had returned the child to their custody.
On Christmas Day 2020, during the lockdown, Stephen Boden, 30, and Shannon Marsden, 22, murdered their 10-month-old son, Finley, who had endured an unimaginable 71 bruises, 57 fractures, and multiple 'crushed and twisted' bones. CCTV footage shows Boden pushing the baby in a pram in the hours leading up to the murder, as per Daily Mail.

The couple eventually subjected the innocent child to brutal abuse, which included breaking his pelvis in two through repeated "kicking or stamping" and burning his hand with a hot, flat surface and a cigarette flame. The trial judge Mrs Justice Tipples choked back tears while thanking the jury for their verdicts. A child safeguarding review into the circumstances surrounding Finley's death is currently underway.
In another horrific incident
A depraved couple's heinous acts have come to light after they used drugs to lure a cognitively impaired boy into their home and subjected him to sexual abuse while recording it for over five years. Julia Ann Bamforth, 49, and Paul Robert Bamforth, 50, have admitted their guilt in 146 charges related to the ongoing sexual assault of the victim, who was a minor at the time. The couple confessed to enticing the neurodivergent minor to come to their residence by luring him with narcotics in order to sexually assault him and document the abuse for their own sexual needs. Although videos captured by the pair show the abuse starting when the victim was around 12 years old, the boy told authorities the sexual abuse started when he was just 7.
He claimed that he had been paid with free drugs in exchange for having sex with the married couple over the course of at least five years. "I didn't want to but I had to,'" the young boy said in a police interview, as per Daily Mail. "I used to get free pot, free ice, free MDMA off (Paul), for, to ... root his wife."
According to court records, the Bamforths cruelly referred to the boy as "the r****d" despite knowing that he had been diagnosed with cognitive difficulties. Numerous texts between the co-offenders that were found by the police show the sexual enjoyment they experienced after abusing the prepubescent victim. Julia expressed her desire to become pregnant with the "ugly little r****d" in one of the letters she sent to her husband so they could "molest the child or children."
Julia reaffirmed her wish to have a child who might be sexually abused by the pair from an early age in notes discovered on Paul's phone. According to the court documents, the pair expressed their desire to have sex with young children in about 300 notes of a similar kind, some of which were as long as 2500 words. Julia and Paul express a vision of adopting poor or destitute children whom they would subsequently sexually abuse in one of the communications singled out by police.
According to court documents, the couple even discussed kidnapping children to satiate their depraved sexual needs. On February 26, 2021, police searched the Bamforths' home in Narara and found home video evidence of their years of brutality toward the victim. According to the accepted facts, seven hard disks were discovered taped to the underside of the bedside table and concealed in a shoebox inside a cupboard. The hard drives contained more than 90 videos of the pair having sex with the child from a time when he was presumably between 10 and 13 years old. According to the facts, one of the recordings depicts Julia having oral sex with the victim while he was around 12 and sleeping.
The couple stored some of the child sex abuse materials, including compilation recordings of various sex activities involving the youngster, in a folder on their computer dubbed "my little c*** lover," according to court filings. Paul can be heard encouraging and directing sexual acts between his wife and the victim in a few of the films as he was filming the abuse. In numerous films revealed in the court records, the Bamforths can also be seen offering the victim illicit narcotics, including an ice pipe. The victim looked to be "highly drug affected" in one of the videos that showed them having sex with Julia, according to the police.
The child sex abuse couple has been charged with 146 offenses
Julia and Paul have both admitted to an alarming number of charges related to the heinous sexual abuse of a child, with Julia pleading guilty to 78 offenses, and Paul pleading guilty to 68. They have been charged with over 20 counts each of aggravated sexual intercourse with a child, as well as several charges of aggravated sexual assault of a victim with cognitive impairment and utilizing a child to produce child sexual abuse material. The couple will receive their sentence for a total of 146 charges later this year.
