A twisted female pedophile who was paid thousands of dollars to sexually abuse a young girl on camera has been sentenced to six years in prison.

33-year-old Christine Callaghan had sexually abused the victim who was under 13 on Skype and had live-streamed the abuse. The live stream was watched by pedophile Dean Petley who paid around $2,500 for the video.

Callaghan had admitted that she distributed the most serious level of abuse via live-streamed videos. She also admitted to two counts of causing or inciting the child to engage in sexual activity.

The National Crime Agency had become aware of the abuse and caught Callaghan after investigating pedophile Jodie Little. Little was sentenced to prison for  12 years and four months.

In October last year, the NCA arrested Petley after he was identified as one of Little's customers. He admitted to 11 charges and was sentenced to eight years in prison.

Little had sent Petley 10 electronic files, one of which showed Callaghan sexually abusing a young girl and talking graphically about the child being raped.

Petley was rearrested in May after more evidence was found linking him to Callaghan.

An encrypted hard drive found at his home revealed screenshots of conversations with Callaghan over the last two years as well as full facial images of her abusing the victim.

Callaghan had also discussed with Petley what she would for money and he would instruct her on how to abuse the victim.

We had previously reported that Jason Booth, the NCA operations manager, had said in a statement, "Petley’s and Callaghan’s convictions were only possible because of our determination to make Jodie Little face justice."

"Distance is not a barrier for the NCA in pursuing UK child sex offenders wherever they are. The investigation into Little has unraveled other leads that our policing partners are working on. There is no greater priority for us than protecting children," he had continued.
