There isn't much time to enjoy romances on 'The Walking Dead' series or its spinoffs, because let's face it, it's usually struck dead, literally. You're either left to be eaten by Walkers or have your head bashed in by the new villain in town... yeah, you're right, we're never getting over Glenn's death. Nevertheless, on 'Fear The Walking Dead', despite a villainous new leader Virginia (Colby Minifie) marching around and being literally the Grim Reaper, there is much time for fans to enjoy little blossomings of hope, which come in the form of their favorite couples — notably Morgan (Lennie James) and Grace (Karen David) or John Dorie (Garret Dillahunt) and June (Jenna Elfman). Everyone's been separated, so they're all pining for each other.

In the latest episode of 'FWD', John and June find a way to make long distance work — by writing letters and passing it through laundry. The medium seems to be Janis (Holly Curran), and fans can't get enough of this lukewarm cuteness. They're waiting for the day John and June will reunite, which isn't too far away. Fans are quite happy to see a John-centric episode, at last.

"That opening was AMAZING!! We got to see johns new life and his daily routine as the new sheriff in Lawton, some backstory, his nice letters to June, and...we have a mystery on our hands #TheWalkingDeadWorldBeyond #TheWalkingDead #FearTheWalkingDead #FearTWD #TWD," a fan wrote.

"John & June are sending each other secret letters to each other in the laundry through Janis, #FearTWD," a tearful fan wrote.

"John and June were separated...but this rhinestone cowboy is gonna get back to his lady love no matter what it takes. #FearTWD," another tweeted.

"Dorie is showing long distance relationships can work, even in the apocalypse. #FearTWD," a fan wrote.

"I love John and June’s system. I just hope Virginia lets them be together soon, #FearTWD," another tweeted.

Well, fans just might get what they wish for. Meanwhile, John is busy trying to solve a case about his fellow ranger Cameron, who was shoved into a fence as Walker bait. The suspicion falls on Janis, but John knows that's not the truth. Then who is it?

'Fear The Walking Dead' airs on AMC on Sundays at 9 pm.
