'The Walking Dead' franchise doesn't hold back when it comes to intimidating and anxiety-inducing villains. Back in the original TWD, most of us were quaking in our boots when the dictator turned up. He was eliminated, only to be later replaced by Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his baseball bat. For us TWD fans, we don't forget Negan's chilling introduction into the series, as he bashed in the heads of Glenn and Abraham, two characters who were much loved by fans. However, Negan and his reign of terror came to an end, soon though Glenn's wife Maggie (Lauren Cohan) is still thirsting for revenge. Carol (Melissa McBride) turned Negan into a double-agent and got to him to infiltrate the Whisperers and kill Alpha (Samantha Morton).

After possibly the most disturbing sex scene in the series, Negan beheaded Alpha and left her head on a plaque for Beta (Ryan Hurst) to see. Negan helped in the Whisperer War, proving that he has redeemed himself and becoming a worthy member of the communities, though Maggie will not be entirely happy about this.

In 'Fear The Walking Dead', we have Virginia (Colby Minifie), and she doesn't mess around either. She might not have the baseball bat or a fish tank full of heads, but she means business. In the first episode of Season 6, she sends a bounty-hunter to complete her unfinished business, which is to kill Morgan (Lennie James) once and for all. She had shot him at the end of Season 5, leaving him mortally wounded as Walkers closed in on him. However, he managed to survive, and Virginia was not pleased. Morgan battled Emile, the bounty-hunter, and came out alive. He sent Emile's head back to Virginia in a box, with a message: "Morgan Jones is dead. You're dealing with someone else now."

In Episode 2, Virginia will face much anger from Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey) as she tries to stand up to her. Considering that Alicia hasn't had much of a role of late, fans are hoping she might step up and be the one to kill Virginia for good. There are a lot of ways Virginia's arc could go: Either redemption like Negan, or she just might be killed like Alpha. The latter is what most fans are hoping for. However, since it's a 'TWD' franchise, there are always surprises.

'Fear The Walking Dead' airs on Sundays, 9pm, AMC.
