'Fear the Walking Dead' Season 6 Episode 3 Preview: Al has to make an important choice while out on mission
When the apocalypse has been going on for as long as it has, sometimes the things that haunt one most aren't the connections they've lost, but the ones that never got the time to develop. When Althea 'Al' Szewczyk-Przygocki (Maggie Grace) ran afoul of a mysterious member of the Civic Republic Military, the connection that formed between them was a lot more than either of them bargained for and Al has been on the hunt for her ever since. That search goes on, as a sneak peek for the next episode reveals that Al's been listening into CRM radio channels to track Isabelle (Sydney Lemmon) down.
Accompanied by Dwight (Austin Amelio), Al is exploring the countryside on Virginia's (Colby Minifie) behalf, but Al's got her own goals in mind. Last season's brief but intense affair with Isabelle made quite an impression on Al. Given how deadly the CRM has been shown to be, however, successfully tracking Isabelle down might be Al biting off more than she can chew, and there's no telling whether this meeting will be as friend or as foe.
In the meantime, Virginia and the Pioneers still have many of her group held captive, and they're going to need every capable hand they've got to escape Virginia's tyrannical influence. Recklessly chasing after love is all well and good, but if things do to Al's way, she's going to have to choose between the relationship she wants, and the people she has to leave to Virginia's mercy. She's got Dwight by her side to help her make her choice - but given how long he's been trying to find his own wife, Sherry (Christine Evangelista), it seems a safe bet as to what he'd encourage Al to do.
The synopsis for this episode, entitled 'Alaska', reads "Al and Dwight go rogue on a recon mission for Ginny to follow a lead thought lost, but Al must choose between what she has now and what she's chasing." You can watch a sneak peek for the episode below.
