'FBI: Most Wanted' Season 1: Only one episode in and fans are already hooked on to the CBS crime drama

Although the realm of television has enough of Wolf's procedural drama, 'FBI: Most Wanted' seems to have appealed to fans by retaining its iconic entertainment chops

The spin-off of Dick Wolf's hit drama series, 'FBI: Most Wanted' premiered on CBS today. The latest offering in the 'Law & Order' franchise centers the functioning of the FBI Fugitive Task Force, which is led by Agent LaCroix.

Although the realm of television has enough of Wolf's procedural drama, 'FBI: Most Wanted' seems to have appealed to fans by retaining its iconic entertainment chops.

In Episode 1, we see LaCroix and his team investigate a case surrounding a murderous doctor who administers illicit drugs. Although they follow the usual protocol and rules of investigation, LaCroix's screen presence alone seems to have been a good reason for viewers to rejoice over 'FBI: Most Wanted'.

Although predictable, the episode skillfully showcases the typical cat and mouse game that cops and thieves play. The team's determination to bust some of the most heinous crimes and apprehend criminals highlights the show.  And, isn’t that why all of Wolf's shows have achieved such favoritism?

One fan wrote, "#FBIMostWanted Just got done watching your new season premiere & it was super good, love this show already," while another added, "#FBIMostWanted now I was surprisingly happy with this new series."

A few of the fans didn’t hesitate to express that they only watched 'FBI: Most Wanted' for Julian McMahon.

"Well I'm intrigued by #FBIMostWanted and it's not only because Julian McMahon looks hot in a bulletproof vest. I mean maybe there's a bit of that too but it's a darn good show IMO," tweeted one.

Some of the comments on Twitter drew a comparison between the original and the spin-off series and noted that the latter was better.

"Just watched the first episode of the new spinoff 'FBI: Most Wanted. Prefer it over FBI because finally Julian Mcmahon is cast as a good guy after a really long time," said one fan.

Another fan commented, "Julian McMahon is fresh, intense & epic in only a way that he can pull off. When he’s onboard a project...he adds depth and intensity and light!"
