If you binged watched the first season of the web series 'Sorry For Your Loss', get ready for another deep dive into the mechanics of grief. The second season premieres on October 1 at 12 pm PT and 3 pm ET on Facebook Watch.

The platform will release the first three episodes for viewers on Tuesday. The official tagline for this season is "You don’t have to let go, you just have to keep going".

The trailer for season two shows Leigh Shaw (Elizabeth Olsen), the grief-stricken young widow getting rid of her "grief hair", signifying the length of time she has spent mourning her husband. It has been six months since her husband's unexpected death but Leigh is far from healed, describing her pain as a "nuclear holocaust on the inside".

In a poignant sequence, Leigh goes to the extent of trying to meet her late husband Matt on "his plane" by consciously dreaming about him to resolve what she feels has been left unfinished because of his sudden death. Complicating her situation is the realization that Danny, her brother-in-law, has developed feelings for her and is trying to stay away.

Another person who also seems to have had enough of Leigh's "selfish grief" is her sister Jules, who is tired of never having the space to talk about her own problems with trying to keep sober. She walks out of the house, saying that she is never coming back as Leigh and Amy, their mother, watch her in stunned silence.

But as the trailer winds to a close, with a montage of key characters saying "I'm sorry", there is a reason to believe that many of these conflicts will find a resolution by the end of the season. Just like last season, viewers can expect 10 episodes in total. Facebook Watch has helpfully put out a "catch up on season 1" video in case you are tuning in to the show for the first time. You could also watch all 10 episodes before the season 2 premiere.

The first season of the web series brought an overwhelming response from people struggling to cope with the loss of their loved ones, who posted on the web series' official fan page. Inspired by their messages, comments and stories, singer-songwriter Julia Michaels penned a song titled 'If You Need Me'. Check out the song and video below:

In Season 2, we will see Kelly Marie Tran return as Jules, Leigh's sister, struggling with going sober, and Janet McTeer as Leigh's and Jules' mother, Amy. Other returning cast members include Jovan Adepo as Danny, Leigh's brother-in-law and Mamoudou Athie as Matt, Leigh's late husband. The first three episodes of 'Sorry For Your Loss' Season 2 will be available for viewing on Facebook Watch from October 1, after 12 pm PT and 3 pm ET.
