Spoilers for ‘Fargo’ Season 4 Episode 3, ‘Raddopiarlo’

The latest episode of ‘Fargo’ saw a lot. From the introduction of a racist, religious, carrot-eating US Marshall called Dick ‘Deafy’ Wickware (Timothy Olyphant), to Zelmare (Karen Aldridge) and Swanee (Kelsey Asbille) attempt to rob Loy Cannon (Chris Rock) -- that did not end well because Swanee was knowingly poisoned with ipecac by nurse Mayflower (Jessie Buckley) -- to Gaetano (Salvatore Esposito), escalating thing by ordering Constant Calamita (Gaetano Bruno) to take Rabbi Milligan (Ben Whishaw) and kill Loy’s son Lemuel (Matthew Elam), as an act of aggression after Cannon and his men took over the slaughterhouse, the episode was packed with action.

Yep. There was a lot going on. and 'Fargo' thrives on chaos. After all, one of the more basic themes of the story of 'Fargo' is the nature of control and how elusive and illusory it really is. Noah Hawley does a fine job giving every character a kind of reality check once in a while.

So, what did the show’s fans feel? Well, for starters, no one seems to like Gaetano. One fan of the show wrote on Twitter, “I’m not digging Gaetano’s overacting. Just doesn’t hit the Fargo spot. Also, an Arby’s prime rib commercial has been airing the entire episode so just a nasty hour all around.” Another fan, taking note of the man’s crazy eyes, wrote, “This guy playing Gaetano on Fargo keeps making Adam Gase eyes,” referring to the New York Jets head coach. Another fan noted, “Glad rabbi knew better. Did better. And I still want Loy to personally kill Gaetano’s b**** a**.”

But where there was hate for Gaetano, there was ample love for Rabbi. After all, Rabbi is one of the few ‘Fargo’ characters you can actively root for. Straightforward, with a moral code, and weird in a way all Noah Hawley characters tend to be.

A fan of the show wrote on Twitter, “Loving #FARGO season 4 so far! Really appreciate the Irish character Rabbi Milligan and the authenticity of his Irishisms!” Another fan wrote, “Fargo, season 4, Ben Whishaw as Rabbi. Absolutely brilliant #fargo. The best show on TV.” A fan prayed, “He really cares about Satchel. I hope that Rabbi makes it out of this season alive but when it comes to Fargo you never know.”

But Rabbi isn’t the only fan favorite. There’s also Loy’s right-hand man Doctor Senator, played by Glynn Turman. The unusual name is not the only thing great about the man. He’s smart. He’s not a coward. And most importantly, he knows how to talk - take for example the amazing story about Hermann Göring he narrated in the episode. So, naturally, fans are adoring him.

One fan wrote, “Doctor Senator is my favorite character in Fargo so far.” Another fan, referencing the story, said, “‘Respect the Deal…’ Doctor Senator's stolen this series and it's only 3 episodes in.” Another fan wrote regarding the same scene, “Give @GlynnTurman every award. #Fargo.”
